    Dan Moreland is an ICPI Authorized Instructor. He is a Technical Instructor for the Concrete Paver Installer Course, Advanced Residential Paver Technician Course and Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavement Specialist Course. Dan was an instructor at Hardscape North America (HNA) in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017. He is also a NCMA Certified SRW Instructor. He is actively involved with ICPI as a member of the ICPI Technical Committee. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.

    Robert Bowers, P. Eng., LEED Green Associate (Moderator)

    Director of Engineering- ICPI

    Robert Bowers has over 25 years of experience in the hardscapes industry developing standards for the design and construction of interlocking concrete pavement and segmental retaining walls. He is responsible for ICPI programs that are related to the installation of interlocking concrete pavers, including the Contractor Education and Certification courses as well as the development and delivery of technical installation materials. Bowers chairs the CSA A231 Committee which is responsible for the development of the Canadian standards for concrete pavers and slabs. Bowers is a member of the ASCE T&DI Permeable Pavements Committee that is currently developing a standard for the Design, Construction and Maintenance of permeable interlocking concrete pavement. Bowers has written several articles and conducted numerous seminars about interlocking concrete and permeable pavements. Bowers participates in the ASCE, ASTM and CSA.

    Mike works for one of the hardscape industry's premier manufacturers of an extensive line of hardscape accessory products including polymeric sands, cleaners, and sealers.  With deep roots in the landscaping and hardscaping world, Mike has both practical experience from the installation end of the business as well as years of experience educating the Alliance Gator dealer and contractor network on proper product selection, application, and troubleshooting of issues related to polymeric jointing sand, cleaners, and sealers.
