These are the most frequently asked questions regarding the Learning Management System (LMS). If your question is not here, please contact us. Support is available Monday to Friday during business hours.

Learning Management System

  • Who can use the Learning Management System (LMS)? 
    The LMS is available to anyone who is interested in learning best practices regarding concrete pavers. You do not have to be an ICPI member or a certified installer to purchase and access the educational content. If you do not have an ICPI login, please register here: https://www.icpi.org/join-now.  
  • How do I log in to my account?
    If you already have an ICPI login, click the “Login” button in the top right-hand corner of the ICPI Concrete Paver Education Center webpage and use the username and password already assigned to you. If you’ve forgotten your password, please click on the “Forgot Password?” button to reset your password. If you do not have a login yet, you can make one by registering here:  https://www.icpi.org/join-now
  • Why can’t I log in?
    Please check your internet browser and security settings to allow permissions for this website.
  • How do I edit my profile?
    Once you are logged in, click on the profile link and update your information.
  • I am experiencing technical difficulties during a webinar and I am using an Internet Explorer browser.
    Please switch to a Chrome or Firefox browser. If the problem persists, check your security settings.
  • Why can’t I play the webinar recording videos?
    The video portion of the webinar may be having a technical issue with compatibility– the Windows operating system or the video software. You may need to check your computer and confirm you have the latest update. Check the version of Windows Media Player you have and see if you need to download their codec. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=507.
    Have you tried Video LAN? Here are links to Video LAN, the open source media player. Check if downloading this/these will help in playing the webinar video: Homepage: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html For PCs: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html For Macs: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html If those fail, check the firewall and security permissions for your computers.
  • Having Computer Issues? Here are the system requirements:
    Please check your internet browser and security settings to allow permissions for this website.
    Internet Speeds: Download: 1.5 Mbps min. and upload: 1 Mbps min
    Hardware: 2 GB RAM min.
    Browsers: Microsoft Edge version 40 or higher; Chrome version 60 or higher, Firefox version 50 or higher; or Safari version 10.1 or higher.
    Other Software: Adobe Flash Player v12, Adobe Shockwave Player
    Internet Explorer is NOT recommended.


Course Registration

  • All courses and materials are per person and should not be shared. Only the account which has purchased the product will receive credit for the course/module.
  • How do I know what courses to take for my career track?
  • Complete the Career Path questionnaire on your profile. 
  • Where can I find courses?
    You can find courses by checking out the catalog.
  • When are your courses?
    The Catalog is arranged according to the next available live courses and live webinars. Live courses are sponsored by ICPI Members who select the date and location of the course. On-demand courses for are available to purchase 24/7. 
  • What is the difference between live courses and online courses?
    Live courses, such as the Concrete Paver Installer course, are hosted by member companies around North America. You can only earn your Concrete Paver Installer certification by attending a live course.
    Online courses, live webinars and on-demand learning are available digitally. These can be used for continuing education, earning a record of completion or as notated, earning a designation.
  • Is there a course close to me?
    We have courses all over North America. Please check the Catalog to see if there is a course near you. On the calendar page, you can sort by date or location.  Courses are sponsored by ICPI Members who select the date and location of the course. If you cannot find a course near you, we recommend you reach out to a local ICPI member to express your interest in them hosting a course. You can find local members by using the ICPI Member Search Engines.
  • Can I sponsor a course?
    If your company is a member in good standing with ICPI, the company can sponsor an installer course.
  • How do I register for a module, a course or an event?
    Log into the site and click on the course title to view information on the item you are interested in. If you want to continue registration, click on the green “Register” button and follow the steps until you get confirmation that you are registered. It probably won’t be a green register button…it will be more like an “add to cart” button will know more about what it will look like soon.
  • Can I use someone else’s account to register for a module/course/event?
    No, everyone should register for modules, courses and events using their personal username and password to log in. This ensures that individuals can keep track of their continuing education and previous event attendance. If you do not have an ICPI login, please register here: https://www.icpi.org/join-now
  • What is the cost to take a module/course?
    Members receive discounts on courses and webinars. Pricing for modules and courses are determined membership level. Members also have access to Members’ Only and free content. For more information on ICPI membership, click on the blue “Join” button in the left column of this page or visit: educate.icpi.org/icpi-membership.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    The Concrete Paver Education Center will only accept credit card payments using Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
  • Where do I find all the modules/courses/events I attended?
    All the modules/courses/events you attended can be found by logging in and looking under your  dashboard. If you cannot remember your Username and Password to log in, please “Request a New Password” or call ICPI at 703.657.6900.
  • Can I cancel my order?
    Yes, by deleting it from your cart. However, paid products are non-refundable and non-transferable.
    If you have registered for a live course, you may have the option to transfer to a future course or substitute your registration for another person. If you cannot attend a live webinar, you will have access to the video recording after the webinar is over.     To transfer to another course, there is a $25 fee. To substitute another employee into the course, there is no charge. Please contact ICPI to make one of these changes.    

    ICPI Cancellation Policy Registrants who provide written notice of cancellation at least seven days in advance of the course start date shall receive a refund less a $75 administrative fee. No refunds will be made for not attending or if notice of cancellation is received seven (7) days or less of the meeting starting date except in cases where participants cannot attend due to inclement weather. In such cases, the Executive Director may waive the seven (7) day notice requirement at his/her discretion. Substitutions shall be permitted from the same company at any time prior to the meeting start date without penalty. For registrants wanting to transfer to an alternate program, a $25 administrative fee shall apply. Credit balances must be used within a one-year period for future programs. ICPI is not responsible for expenses incurred due to cancellation of program.

Certification/Continuing Education

  • What is the difference between membership and certification?
    Membership belongs to the company. All employees automatically receive the discounts and benefits of membership including discounts on courses, webinars and certification renewals. Any company who has certified installers on staff but is not an ICPI may not use the Proud Member logo. Certification belongs to the individual. It is the individual who is certified, not the company. Any company who does not have a Certified Installer on staff is not allowed to use the Certified Installer logo. 
  • How do I become a member?
    Becoming a member company of ICPI is easy! Fill out the Membership Application  or click on the blue “Join” button in the left column of this page.  Make sure to choose the membership category that best fits your company. Full descriptions of the membership categories can be found on the second page of the application. Your membership benefits start immediately. Email your application to icpi@icpi.org, fax it to 703.657.6901 or mail it to 14801 Murdock St. Suite 230 Chantilly, VA 20151.
  • What is the cost of becoming a member?
    Membership cost is based on the membership category you choose. ICPI has voting and non-voting memberships available. Please refer to the Membership Application for non-voting pricing.   • Can I be certified and not be a member?
    Yes, you can be a certified installer and not be a member of ICPI. You would not be eligible for any membership benefits or discounts if you are not a member.
